Advantages:
> In our Country the majority of our farmers either uses the synthetic chemicals at a very small scale or not at all. Consequently it might be expected that the transition to organic agriculture would be easy.

> The producer income increases depending of the product.  (It is estimated that there is an increase of 10 percent).

> Savings are made on the chemical fertilizers, pesticides and energy inputs whose prices are rapidly increasing.

> With the contractual agriculture all the products of the producer have the guarantee to be sold.

Export price of the ecological products are 10-20 percent higher than other products.

> With the export of ecological products an additional capacity is being created for the agricultural products of our country. Therefore each ton that was exported reaches a consumer mass, which could not be reached previously.

> The ecological agriculture model, which requires special knowledge, creates new employment areas for agricultural engineers.
 
Disadvantages:
> In our country there are important fluctuations in the supply of agricultural products from year to year. With the population which is rapidly growing and becoming younger, the increase in consumption level and variety and with the characteristics of the surrounding countries with almost all   of them requiring agricultural products it seems that the organic farming (due to the decrease in the productivity) will develop difficultly in the short term.

>An issue arising with the vegetal production with the ecological agriculture method is the small size of the lands, their being made of patches and placed close to each other. This situation has a negative effect on the organic production.  Because it is not possible for an enterprise doing organic farming to avoid being affected by the chemicals used in the classical enterprises, which produce in the vicinity.  

> The marketing of the products grown in the ecologic agricultural system is a new and indefinite matter especially for the domestic market.

> As the matter is new the lack of agricultural publication works and personnel is the other negative aspect of the ecological agriculture.
